Prior to founding Reawaken Capital, Dylan served as Vice President at Recreate Commercial Real Estate, where he advised technology, venture capital, and growth-stage companies on real estate strategy, site selection, lease structuring, and portfolio optimization. His work included detailed financial modeling, market research, and transaction execution for organizations such as 500 Startups, Take-Two Interactive, Jaguar Health, and Transmission Agency, supporting multimillion-dollar real estate decisions across major U.S. markets.

In addition to real estate, Dylan has held senior operational roles across technology and investment-focused organizations, where he led large teams, managed complex operating systems, and supported fundraising initiatives. He is a Certified Real Estate Investment Planning Specialist (CREIPS) and National Commercial Real Estate Advisor, bringing a disciplined, research-driven approach to capital allocation and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Reawaken Capital, Carlton Hoyt founded and led multiple operating companies at the intersection of science, technology, and commercialization. He is the Founder and Principal Consultant of BioBM, an international life science marketing agency, where he advises biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research organizations on go-to-market strategy, sales systems, and operational execution. Carlton is also a Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Laboratory Supply Network, a laboratory equipment distributor, where he has overseen commercial strategy, vendor partnerships, and scalable operating infrastructure.

In addition to his work in life sciences and commercialization, Carlton has held senior operational and financial roles in technology and investment-focused organizations. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Vatnforn (Deepwaters), where he managed operations and financial workflows. Carlton holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.S. in Project Management, and a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, bringing a disciplined, systems-driven approach to operations, capital efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Benjamin Peters brings decades of hands-on construction and design-build experience to Reawaken Capital. Raised in the Bay Area, Ben has built his career at the intersection of engineering rigor, fine art, and craftsmanship. When not overseeing projects, he spends his time hiking, skiing, or enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two sons.

Ben earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and began his professional career working on commercial steel projects and large-scale art installations. Seeking a more hands-on path, he transitioned into residential construction, refining his craft with several premier Bay Area builders specializing in ultra-high-end homes. In 2001, Ben became a licensed general contractor and founded Peters Design-Build, where he has spent more than two decades building custom residences defined by precision, durability, and design excellence.

Today, Ben focuses on construction administration and quality control at Peters Design-Build, bringing a meticulous, engineering-driven approach to every project. His background in mechanical engineering, lifelong appreciation for fine art, and uncompromising standards have shaped a reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and enduring value across every build.
